We were in Paris in April and ate lunch at L'Arpege. The food was so good we said next trip we would have to go back. It was just as good the second time. on the first visit the waiter recommended the chief's choice menu. This surprised us, as it was the least expensive, great recommendation! Second visit, we didn't bother reading the menu. We knew what we wanted. The space is not as elegant as other restaurants with as high a rating, but it's very pleasant. The service is very good. Buy a copy of the chief's "graphic novel" cook book. It's great fun and tells you a lot about how he creates.

Overall I had a very pleasant lunch experience with great service and many dishes. My favorites were the known dishes of the chef such as the egg, the colorful trio in cups, the salad with mozzarella/burrata, the dumplings in broth, cucumber soup and onion tart. I also liked the bread and desserts. I didn’t love the cabbage dish, the clam, shrimp and genuia pig dishes. I also felt the dishes were too big considering the number served. I could barely eat half of them by the end as I had probably a dozen or more dishes that were all the size of appetizer or main. I would recommend to consider cutting the portion size by 2/3 and maybe lowering the cost of lunch accordingly. If the dishes were smaller and the cost was closer to 100 euro, it would be close to a perfect meal with some edits to seafood and meat dishes.

Crazy carte blanche adventure. Nobody knows what comes next out of the kitchen. The gardeners lunch at Arpege was amazing.

We enjoyed lunch as no dinner reservations were available for the dates we were visiting Paris. The restaurant decor was exceptional as was the table settings. As my daughter is a vegetarian, she especially enjoyed the fresh and intense flavors of each dish. As world travelers, both of us have enjoyed amazing meals. We both agreed that this lunch was the best meal ever!

Excellente ambiance.

Experience was fantastic, all dishes were perfect and they also have a excellent wine list. Congratulations

The creativity is unsurpassed on the jardin tasting menu! Each dish was phenomenal! The fact that Chef Passard comes out and greets each table at the end of the meal is a very special experience. He is a delight!

Our Fourth time here and lobster is still our fav. Best lobster in the world. Lovely wine list to choose from. The onion gratin was served in one portion instead of two separate portions which was a bit disappointed. Sole was good n rich but my own personal preference is whole sole with the fins as it’s more tender. But we missed the knifes we got before!
