Modern British cuisine is served on a riverside al fresco deck at Harts Boatyard, a refurbished gastro-pub. With wood-panelled walls, cushioned seating & log fires, the indoor dining area & bar are filled with cosy corners to enjoy a drink or a traditional Sunday roast.
With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, the Harts Boatyard menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest available ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.
The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at the Harts Boatyard bar. Nostalgic British nibbles and eclectic sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.

Harts is in a fantastic location with lovely views of the Thames. The staff are so attentive, welcoming and friendly. The roast dinner is usually top class but it wasn’t up to it’s usual high standard on this occasion which was very disappointing.

Loved the mushroom arancini,we booked 2.30pm and dint eat til after 3pm and nut roast was a tad dry but meat pie was delicious and fish was nice

Lovely place and good service but food is not up to the level of the rest of the package. It's nice but a bit disappointing given the prices.

My first time, had a lovely table by the window all 3 of us had the set 3 course lunch menu and the food was delicious. Sadly I cannot remember our Waiter's name but he was very attentive and efficient.

Pre-dinner drinks downstairs was pleasant. Table was ready when requested, but felt a little squashed in the far corner of the restaurant and the cold air con from the wall unit meant that one of our guests had to keep her coat on! Food, drinks and service was well received. No New York cheesecake was disappointing :-( Overall a good evening was had by all six diners.
