Housed in a building dating back to 1651, The Barnt Green Inn is a refurbished gastro pub with a large patio for al fresco dining, serving a menu of modern British fare. Inside, wood carvings & mirrors adorn the walls, and the many leather sofas and open log fires ensure there is always a cosy space in the bar or restaurant to enjoy an intimate gathering.
With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The Barnt Green Inn menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest available ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.
The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at The Barnt Green bar. Had a lovely night good atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, loved the prosecco and the food was outstanding had 3 courses and they were perfect, starters of 1. scallops and 2. squid mains 1. pork belly with scallops, mash and 2. sea bass with octopus Pudding 1. chocolate bomb and 2. cheese board.

Welcoming, good ambience, professional helpful and engaging young male waiter. Food was of an acceptable standard but not ecxceptional. However, this was a late afternoon Sunday lunch.
